Purdue has been busy extending offers to Class of ’25 prospects and that includes one to Portage Northern High School (MI) offensive tackle Gregory Patrick.

The 15 year-old prospect stands 6-foot-5-inches and weighs 265 pounds. He was part of an offensive line that didn’t allow any sacks or pressures during the 2023 season, as Portage Northern recorded 43.9 points per game.

“It feels great. I know Purdue is a great school and a consistent, solid program,” Patrick told Boiler Wire.

In addition to the Boilermakers, Patrick has garnered offers from Big Ten foes Indiana, Illinois, Michigan State and Penn State, among others. He said while it “feels good” to see Big Ten programs offer, he remains focused on the upcoming season. Patrick admits he doesn’t have any visits planned currently.

“I am keeping my focus on my team as of now, leading them into the offseason. I think a goal would be winning a state championship this year,” Patrick acknowledged.

As for what the Boilermakers liked of Patrick, he said his athleticism, and he admits he has found plenty to like about Purdue.

“I like how coach has made Purdue a program that is consistent. They will definitely get better over time. They liked how I was an athletic offensive lineman that was big,” Patrick said.
