Former Purdue football safety Sanoussi Kane finally heard his name called in the 2024 NFL Draft Saturday. The Baltimore Ravens selected Kane in the seventh round at pick number 250.

He was the 30th pick of the final round of the NFL Draft Saturday. The selection comes on the heels of a solid senior season for Kane with Purdue football. Over four seasons in West Lafayette, Kane played in 33 games. This past season, Kane amassed 79 total tackles, six tackles for a loss, seven pass breakups and a forced fumble.

For his career, Kane recorded 162 total stops, deflected 10 passes and notched two sacks.

The Ravens went 13-4 last year and claimed the AFC North title. The former Purdue football safety will look to make Baltimore’s defense, which has always been strong over the years. Kane was the third defensive player drafted by Baltimore. The Ravens also drafted Clemson corner back Nate Wiggins in the first round and Iowa State corner back T.J. Tampa in the fourth round.

Kane was the second Purdue football player to be drafted on Saturday, as Tyrone Tracy Jr. was drafted by the New York Giants in the fifth round.
