Purdue football offers Michigan three-star tight end

At 6-foot-6-inches and 220 pounds, Jayden Savoury looks like a college football player already. It’s one reason why Purdue football has already extended an offer to the St. Mary’s Prep (MI) tight end.

“It feels great. I’ve heard a lot about the football program, and I am excited to have an opportunity to play there, maybe, one day,” Savoury told Boiler Wire.

In addition to the offer from the Boilermakers, Savoury holds offers from the likes of: Penn State, Boston College, Rutgers, Marshall and Michigan State, among others.

“Purdue is definitely one of my top offers so far. I am planning to take a visit sometime in the spring,” Savoury said.

Savoury is currently rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals. He admits he has heard quite a bit about what the Purdue football coaching staff likes about his game.

“The coaches said they really like my athleticism and size and that fits the tight end position well. I am super excited on building a relationship with the staff and learning from them,” Savoury said.

While he is months away from his season, the Class of ’25 standout has several goals he wants to achieve.

“This season, I’m looking to get bigger, faster and stronger. Also, to win our league and maybe even a state championship. From taking visits, I learn about the facilities, coaching staffs, campus feel, the city and the culture of the program,” Savoury said.
