Trevoris Finley may only be a freshman, but that is not stopping Purdue and others to get in early on the Class of 2027 prospect’s recruiting.
Purdue recently offered the Saint Thomas Aquinas (FL) defensive lineman, who plays both tackle and end.
“It feels great. As a freshman, I am glad to receive a lot of offers, especially from Purdue. The thing that stands out about Purdue is I love the coaching staff and the defensive line,” Finley told Boiler Wire.
In addition to the Boilermakers, Finley, who is 6-foot-2-inches and 220 pounds, has been offered by the following: Auburn, Temple, South Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Penn State, Florida International, Miami, and Pittsburgh. As a freshman, Finley helped lift Saint Thomas Aquinas to a state championship.
He said coaches have liked the speed and physicality at which he plays the game.
“I can see myself a part of Purdue’s defensive line,” Finley said.
Finley said he is planning on visiting West Lafayette and continuing to build what is a strong relationship.
“Purdue is showing a lot of love for me right now. My goals are to become stronger and faster,” Finley said.
