Purdue Football: Season tickets sold out for this year

While expectations nationally may be low for the Purdue football team, the excitement is at a feverish pitch for fans.

Purdue Athletics took to social media this week to announce that all season tickets have sold out for the 2024 Purdue football season.  The feat marks the highest season ticket sales the program has seen since the Joe Tiller era in the 2000’s.

Purdue football will host six games at Ross-Ade Stadium, including dates with Notre Dame, Oregon and Penn State. While some may be surprised with the news, Purdue football coach Ryan Walters is anything but.

“I’ve learned how much I love this university and the West Lafayette community,” Walters said recently at Big Ten Media Days. “This is a fanbase and a support system that is unmatched. This community, West Lafayette, they show up and they show out unconditionally.”

A season ago, the Boilermakers finished 4-8, but claimed two of their last three games. The wins down the stretch were capped off with a 35-31 win over Indiana in the Old Oaken Bucket clash.

Purdue football will open the 2024 season at home on Aug. 31 against in-state rival Indiana State.
