With three months roughly until the season begins for Purdue football, the Boilermakers learned the times of two upcoming games this week.
Both the Notre Dame game and the trip to Oregon State have kickoff times and television information established.
On Sept. 14, Purdue will host Notre Dame at 3:30 p.m. on CBS and Paramount-Plus. This marks the first time since 2021 the Boilermakers and Fighting Irish will square off. That year, Notre Dame pulled out a 27-13 win over Purdue football in South Bend.
A week later, Purdue football hits the road for a date against Oregon State. Kickoff between the Boilermakers and Beavers is set for 8:30 p.m. on CW.
The two teams played in 2021, as Purdue football held off Oregon State, 30-21, at Ross-Ade Stadium. This year’s contest is the third time the two teams have played. Oregon State defeated the Boilermakers, 22-14, during the 1967 season.
Purdue football will open the 2024 season on Aug. 31 when it rolls out the red carpet for Indiana State. There has not been an announced kickoff time or television news at the moment.
The Boilermakers will look to improve on last year’s 4-7 mark under second year head coach Ryan Walters this season.
