At 6-foot-6-inches and 325 pounds, it is easy to see why the Purdue Boilermakers offered Davison High School (MI) Class of 2026 offensive lineman Ben Nichols. The Purdue Boilermakers recently offered and Nichols said it “felt great” to be offered.
“It feels great. I think they have a great football team,” Nichols told Boiler Wire.
The Class of ’26 prospect said he has been impressed with the coaching staff, including head coach Ryan Walters.
“The coaches are definitely going to move this program in the right direction,” Nichols said.
With the relationship in the early stages, Nichols said the staff has told him a few things they like about his game.
“They said I can move pretty good for a big man and I seem like a great kid,” Nichols said.
In addition to the offer from Purdue football, Nichols holds offers from the likes of Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Michigan State. He has also drawn interest from Notre Dame, having visited the Irish last season after camping in South Bend.
